Free uses on every tool

Post to Instagram from your desktop.

Reels, stories and carousels straight from your computer. Real audio from Instagram's own catalogue. Scheduling that actually fires. It lives inside instagram.com, so there's no second app to learn.

No sign-up, and it never asks for your Instagram password.

Nobody else does this

Eleven themes. Even the like button.

Instagram gives you light or dark. InstaDesk restyles the whole site — posts, menus and dialogs — and gives the like button a shape of its own: a star on Galaxy, a coin on Money, a leaf on Sage Garden. It runs in your browser only, so nobody else sees it and your account is untouched.

The whole Instagram website restyled by the Galaxy theme — violet starfield background, dark violet post cards, and a star in place of every like button.
Galaxy — the like button becomes a star
The whole Instagram website restyled by the Money theme — deep green background, green post cards, and a gold coin in place of every like button.
Money — the like button becomes a coin

Two of eleven. The rest: Neon, Aurora, Liquid Glass, Modern, Sand & Clay, Premium, Sage Garden, Nordic Mist and Espresso — each with its own like button.

The part nobody else has

Find the sounds that are actually working.

InstaDesk notes the audio of every reel you scroll past and counts how often each one comes back. A track the feed keeps pushing at you is one that's working right now, in your niche — so instead of guessing, you get a ranked list.

  • Momentum, not guesswork. Sounds are ranked by week-over-week sightings, so you can see what's climbing and what's already past it.
  • Use this audio, from anywhere. One button attaches the track you're hearing to your next reel and opens the composer.
  • Instagram's real licensed audio, credited to its audio page exactly as if you'd added it in the app.
The InstaDesk sound radar, listing tracks ranked by how many times they have been seen this week.

Plan it once

A calendar that fires without you.

Drag posts around a month view, or queue a whole batch at once — one a day, or every few hours. Your media stays on your own machine until the moment it goes out.

  • Posts, reels and stories can all be scheduled, not just single photos.
  • Nothing is uploaded to a server to wait. There is no server holding your drafts.
  • Every fire is written to the activity log, so you can check what went out and when.

Everything else

The tools Instagram's website leaves out.

Publishing is free forever. The tools marked Pro have free uses built in, so you can try each one on your own work before deciding anything.

Publish properly

Photos, carousels up to ten, reels and stories. Pick any frame as the cover, tag collaborators, add a location and alt text, or put your hashtags in the first comment.

Free forever

Download in full quality

Save photos, videos, reels and stories at original resolution — including from the scrolling reels feed, which most tools miss.

Pro

Know your audience

See who doesn't follow you back by name, track who left between scans, export to CSV, and flag likely bot followers.

Pro

A quieter feed

Hide sponsored posts, switch to mobile view, and get a real seek bar on reels. With Pro, watch stories and read messages without being marked as seen.

Mostly free

Music studio

Lay your own audio over a video before posting. Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Pro

Why this matters

Nothing happens on your account unless you switch it on.

Plenty of Instagram tools quietly like and follow on your behalf to "grow" your account, and their users find out afterwards. Instagram's rules forbid it, and when they act on it, it's your account that gets restricted — not the tool's. InstaDesk has one growth tool, and it is built to be refusable: off until you turn it on, honest about whose risk it is, and incapable of doing anything it doesn't write down.

  • No auto-comment and no automated messaging — not as an option, not present. Liking and following exist only in Grow account: off by default, capped at a limit you can't raise, and stopped on the first push-back from Instagram.
  • Every action is written to a built-in activity log — timestamped, on your machine — so you can check what InstaDesk has done rather than trust it.
  • It never asks for your Instagram password. It works through the session already in your browser.
  • No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. Your content and follower data stay on your computer.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do you need my Instagram password?

No, and it will never ask. InstaDesk works inside your browser using the Instagram session you're already signed into. There's no login screen, no account to create, and nothing for us to store.

Can this get my account banned?

Not from normal use. Everything InstaDesk does is an action you clicked, at the moment you clicked it, and the activity log keeps the full record. The one exception is Grow account, which can like and follow for you: it is off until you turn it on, capped at a limit you can’t raise, and stops on the first push-back from Instagram. That is the part Instagram’s rules are actually about, so leave it off if you’re unsure.

Is the music real Instagram audio?

Yes. When you attach a track, it's Instagram's own licensed audio, credited to its audio page exactly as if you'd added it in the app. We don't host or serve music files of our own.

Does it work on Mac?

Yes — anywhere desktop Chrome runs, including macOS, Windows, Linux and Chromebooks. Chromium browsers like Edge and Brave work too.

What happens when the free uses run out?

Only that tool stops — each Pro tool has its own count, so spending your downloads doesn’t touch scheduling. There is no trial and no clock: free uses don’t expire, so an unused one is still there in a month. Publishing keeps working free forever — posts, carousels, reels, stories, tagging, link stickers, hashtags in the first comment, attaching real Instagram audio, the ad blocker, mobile view and video controls. Nothing is deleted and no scheduled post is lost.

Is this made by Instagram?

No. InstaDesk is an independent product with no affiliation to Instagram or Meta.
